Junior Cert History at higher level combines a variety of question types.
Question 1 - Pictures; Question 2 - Documents; Question 3 - Short-answer questions.
Any aspect of the course can be examined in these questions. Familiarise yourself with pictures of 20th century leaders, monasteries, castles, Renaissance paintings and buildings, archaeologists at work, as well as cartoons or newspaper clippings you may find in your text book.
Questions 4,5, and 6 are longer questions and form the core of the exam. Historical analysis is provided for these questions.
